2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

PRIMEFLUX INC. provides extra-low-voltage (ELV) installation, automation, communications wiring, and general property service coordination.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Low-voltage wiring

  • Data and communications cabling

  • Smart home device installation

  • Security cameras and doorbells

  • Automation systems

  • Central vacuum rough-ins

  • Retrofit and new construction support

Unless explicitly stated in writing, PRIMEFLUX INC. does not perform regulated trade work requiring licensing under Ontario law (including electrical, plumbing, gas, or HVAC services). Where required, licensed subcontractors may be engaged.

Clients are solely responsible for:

  • Permits and approvals

  • Inspections

  • Site readiness

  • Safe and reasonable access to work areas

 

3. EXTRA-LOW-VOLTAGE (ELV) LIMITATION

All services provided are limited to extra-low-voltage systems.

Any connection to building electrical systems must be performed by a licensed electrician where required by law. We are not responsible for:

  • Existing wiring conditions

  • Code compliance of prior installations

 

4. ESTIMATES & QUOTES

All quotes are:

  • Estimates only until confirmed in writing

  • Valid for 7–30 days unless otherwise stated

  • Subject to site inspection and verification

  • Subject to material price fluctuations

  • Subject to unforeseen conditions

Unless stated otherwise, quotes typically include labour only.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Hidden or unforeseen obstacles

  • Drywall or finish repairs

  • Travel and parking

  • After-hours work

  • Material sourcing

  • Permit or scheduling delays

Work outside the original agreed scope will be billed separately.

 

5. PAYMENT TERMS

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Deposits may be required prior to scheduling

  • Full payment is due upon completion

  • Late payments may incur additional fees

  • Unpaid invoices may be sent to collections

  • Client is responsible for any legal or collection costs

We reserve the right to suspend or stop work due to non-payment.

 

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Deposits may be non-refundable if:

  • Materials have been ordered

  • Time has been reserved

  • Work has been scheduled

 

7. ACCESS TO PROPERTY

Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to:

  • Work areas

  • Electrical panels

  • Mechanical rooms

  • Attics, basements, and crawlspaces

  • Network and communication areas

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Restricted or limited access

  • Occupied or obstructed spaces

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Pets or hazards

  • Parking limitations

Clients are responsible for moving furniture, equipment, and valuables unless otherwise agreed.

 

8. MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT

Unless explicitly stated:

  • Client-supplied materials are not covered under our warranty

  • We are not responsible for manufacturer defects

  • We are not liable for compatibility issues with client-provided devices

All installed equipment is subject solely to the manufacturer’s warranty.

 

9. WARRANTY LIMITATION

Any labour warranty (if provided) is limited and does not cover:

  • Misuse or negligence

  • Third-party modifications

  • Power surges or electrical issues

  • Network or connectivity issues

  • Pre-existing wiring problems

  • Environmental or physical damage

  • Software, app, or ISP-related issues

We do not guarantee the performance or reliability of:

  • Internet service

  • Wi-Fi coverage

  • Third-party applications

  • Cloud-based services

  • Smart devices

 

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, PRIMEFLUX INC. shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of data or business

  • Network downtime

  • Security breaches involving third-party systems

  • Equipment or device failures

  • Pre-existing conditions (known or unknown)

Maximum liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the services rendered.

 

11. PROPERTY DAMAGE DISCLAIMER

While reasonable care is taken during all work:

  • Minor drilling, cutting, or access openings may be required

  • Concealed conditions may exist within walls, ceilings, or floors

We are not responsible for damage to hidden structures such as pipes, wiring, or framing that are not visible or disclosed.

Clients accept reasonable installation impact. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the client is responsible for all finish repairs.

This website may contain links to third-party websites.

PRIMEFLUX INC.:

  • Does not control or maintain external websites

  • Does not endorse their content or services

  • Is not responsible for their policies or practices
